The Stuo Set caters to apartment dwellers seeking versatile seating options in confined living areas.
The Stuo Set features twist-lock attachable legs for effortless assembly and disassembly. Utilizing wood and eco-friendly fabric, the design reflects Knoll's commitment to environmentally conscious practices while echoing mid-century modern aesthetics but also. Utilizing the expertise of team members skilled in sculpture and sewing, the construction process was seamless.

"Subtle: An Exploration of Presence and Purpose”, hosted at the Chiquola Gallery in Downtown Anderson on December 1, 2023, showcased the Stuo Set alongside six seating solutions developed by design teams from Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina. The exhibition adhered to a minimalist color scheme of black, white, and wood accents for informational plaques and signage
The Stuo Set was presented in two distinct designs: the Classic variant, featuring sleek black cushions paired with a natural wood finish, and the Luxe Bovine Edition, adorned with cow-print cushions complemented by a walnut wood stain. The Classic design was exhibited in its fully compacted, stacked configuration, while the Luxe Bovine Edition was showcased with the stools separated, legs assembled, offering a glimpse of its functionality within an apartment setting.
