Sailor began with a simple, heartfelt idea from Margot Summerfield, an older sibling who saw her younger brother, Dean, struggling with the ups and downs of personal care. Dean was figuring out what worked for him—balancing skincare, hygiene, and wellness—while navigating the demands of school and friendships. Margot realized there wasn’t much available that spoke directly to teens like Dean, who were starting to care about how they looked and felt but didn’t want the hassle of complicated routines.

One day, after seeing Dean fumble through her skincare shelf, Margot had a spark of inspiration: what if there was an easier way for kids like him to get started with self-care? That moment led to Sailor—a personal care service that’s grounded in simplicity, support, and love.

What makes Sailor unique is the bond that inspired it. Margot designed each Sailor box as a straightforward toolkit, made for pre-teens and teens who are beginning to explore self-care. Each box feels like a care package from someone who genuinely understands—filled with practical, age-appropriate products like gentle cleansers and deodorants.

Sailor is designed to guide young people on their self-care journey, helping them feel comfortable, confident, and ready for anything. It’s more than a subscription box; it’s a bridge between growing up and feeling at home in their own skin.
